column width in tabs - issue

Hello everyone !
sorry for my bad English but I'm not a native English speaker

my current issue with XYplorer is about column widths across tabs

I'd like to have always the same width for my set of columns across all tabs, whether locked or freshly open
I've disabled the auto column sizing and defined-saved a column layout

still I cannot have all the tabs with same columns width, same order across my tab set or new tabs

can anyone suggest me a step by step guide to achieve that ?

Hello Thanks for quick reply

I did as indicated, plus I've deleted the entries in "Managed Folder views", expect "Default"

then I've used "View |Folder View Settings |Define This as Default"

closed (saving settings) and restarted....The colums where not as I left them...

any idea ?

Disable Folder View Settings. You don't need it for this.

Disabled "Disable Folder View Settings" --> problem still present

This is how i set up the columns width

then I click "File | save setting"
then ALt+F4

when I re open XY this is what I have

All other tabs, when opened have different columns widths - there are no 2 identical

What shall I do differently to fix the columns with ?

Try to untick this: Tools | Customize List | Autosize Columns
