Is there a way to set the priority for background copy, or throttle it a bit?
I occasionally need to copy a few LARGE (ie 30GB+) files (think VMs) and it totally stuffs my 100Mb LAN to the point where I can't use my C/S app.
I'd be happier if the copy took longer but I could work.

I use Process Hacker to increase the process priority.

Re: Copy priority
If you are interested, you could also use a third party program such as FastCopy, which allows you to throttle bandwidth from its GUI, you can set it up in XY's options in the File Operations section under External Copy Handlers.
Once an ECH has been implemented, you can quickly swap between it and XYcopy by right clicking the green check mark icon on the far right side of the status bar.

Re: Copy priority
I'm not sure ProcessHacker would work but FastCopy looks interesting.
Thanks to both
