OK, say we have an "Exposure Bias" of "-0.66", where/how would be put that data below?

Code: Select all

1300 x 868 [3:2]
LEICA M (Typ 240)
50mm ƒ/2.8 1/250s ISO200

EDIT: Don't worry, I got it by myself. :)

Code: Select all

1300 x 868 [3:2]
LEICA M (Typ 240)
50mm ƒ/2.8 1/250s -0.66EV ISO200

Well, I'm a bit late since you already posted a new beta with it...
Anyway, one option could have been moving the focal data next to the camera, and keeping together the holy trinity Aperture/Shutter/Iso, i.e.:

Code: Select all

1300 x 868 [3:2]
LEICA M (Typ 240) 50mm
ƒ/2.8 1/250s ISO200 -0.66EV

Another alternative would be to relegate the Exposure bias to another line after the exposure program info (large tiles height are presumably much bigger anyway), i.e.:

Code: Select all

1300 x 868 [3:2]
LEICA M (Typ 240) 50mm
ƒ/2.8 1/250s ISO200
Aperture -0.66EV

Well, in any case, your implementation is fine too, so let's focus on thanking you for what's already in!!!

Thanks & Have a nice day, 8)

I'm open to such changes (especially since it now looks a bit unbalanced with one extra long line).

Other photo pholks with an opinion?
Also on: should I really add Exposure Program?

Ha, too late! I went for this:

Code: Select all

    1300 x 868 [3:2]
    LEICA M (Typ 240)
    50mm ƒ/2.8 1/250s ISO200
    Aperture -0.66EV

Not yet. But if Lightroom goes cloud-only, following Photoshop & friends, I will have opinions and suggestions galore. You seem to be open for that direction :D

I dont like Adobe's idea of a lifetime license, it's the exact opposite of yours - monthly payments your whole life. Saves money if you die soon, whereas XY makes you wanna live forever... :appl:

Actually, come to think of it, I do have another candy idea - offer OpenWith in any of the right-click menus. With the histogram and all that new info, users may want to process the pic. If clicked then close the preview, since it probably won't be accurate anymore when coming back from the photo editor.

Good point!

And, yes, I will be there when Adobe is gone. When everything gets cloudy, XY is where the sun keeps shining. :)

Hi Don,

there is some faint memory I could have asked for it before, but anyway

4. Any chance to make a single LMD triggering "Next"?

LMD on the status would be possible. Maybe left half back, right half foreward.
