Finding Folders

Post by fredzoyt »

Forgive me if this should be obvious, but how can I use XYP to find folder names? I know how to find file names, but can't seem to figure how to do so with folders.

TIA,
Dave

Others will have better answers, but one thing is to EDIT try putting a slash after the name. Like
My Documents/

Actually I'm at my computer now, and my suggestion actually doesn't seem to work

In the Info Panel, specify what you want in the appropriate section (e.g write the name in Name & Location), then click on the Attributes tab and check 'Directory'.
Done

Or append "/d" to the name pattern. This also works in Quick Search (F3).

E.g. "huge /d" will find all folders with "huge" in the name:
