Post by rod147 »

Is it possible to add DWG format files to Trackers preview?

dwg & pspimage

It would be great if you could reconsider adding Autocad .dwg preview.
It would also be great if you could add paint shop pro .pspimage preview.

Thanks

What I would prefer instead would be a plugin system so other people can add these. I'm sure that wouldn't be a small amount of work Don, but it would certainly give you a way out. Just tell people to create their own preview plugin if they really want it ;)

I'm sure you don't have time to do this just yet, but what about putting it on the list? I'd love to get various file format previews, camera RAW formats, PDF, .AI and .PSD being the usual suspects - but I know your current answer on adding new formats.

i second that.

beeing that it would be too much of work to rewrite the app to implement a full fledged plugin system at this point of the project, i think it would be a good idea to modularize the preview system (and probably the archieve browsing support in distant future =).
for myself, i'd rather have a sleek, compact file management tool as xyplorer is at this time, than a bloated monster of an app that can even walk your dog...

anyways,
keep up the good work!
cheers

Good point on the archive system oli - I'm with you on keeping it slim by default though :)
