Which begs the following question: why was there no version 14.90 of XYplorer? While not always in the loop when it comes to this program what did I miss here?

Inquiring Minds Want To Know!
While doing a spring clean up of the files on the hard drive was struck by the following thought. We all know that Windows 8 was such a fiasco that Microsoft is distancing itself from that code and going straight to Version 10.
Which begs the following question: why was there no version 14.90 of XYplorer? While not always in the loop when it comes to this program what did I miss here?

I wanted the BIG new feature (Portable Devices) in a BIG new version (15.00), that's all.
BTW, I love Windows 8.

Eminently reasonableI wanted the BIG new feature (Portable Devices) in a BIG new version (15.00), that's all.
It came (8.1 to be accurate) an a new notebook at Christmas and by-in-large my position is one of ambivalence. However, the real work still gets done on the desktop - Win 7. Haven't decided about v10 yet. Need to know more.BTW, I love Windows 8.

My first computer "Interfacing" was back in the 1960s. It was accomplished using a large teletype machine. There is something extremely inelegant about getting work done by smearing one's fingers all over the screen.
