Is it possible to use a Visual Filter (or Power Filter) to show things either tagged or labeled? I haven't seen it in the documentation for the Filters and was wondering if that feature exists?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
Visual Filters and Tagging or Labels
Re: Visual Filters and Tagging or Labels
Nope. Use Quick Search (F3)
example pattern: find current list items tagged with hiprio or criticalOr just enter the search pattern right in the addressbar prefixed with a ?.
This ?prefixed pattern can also be appened to the addressbar when it's showing current path! Wow!(btw, you can also visual filter this way: only use a | instead of ? before the VF pattern)
Also suggest you turn this on Configuration > Find Files & Branch View > Find Files > Show quick search results in current tab
example pattern: find current list items tagged with hiprio or critical
Code: Select all
tags: hiprio;criticalCode: Select all
?tags: hiprio;criticalCode: Select all
C:\urrent\Path\?tags: hiprio;criticalAlso suggest you turn this on Configuration > Find Files & Branch View > Find Files > Show quick search results in current tab

Re: Visual Filters and Tagging or Labels
Thanks Sammay!
I forgot about the quick search. I guess the thing I love about the Filters is that I can save and label them so I can quickly choose a pre-built one when I need it.
I'll try to remember to use the history on the quick search to do searches like this from now on.
Thanks again.
