Open and Save Dialog Boxes
Open and Save Dialog Boxes
For quite a while I used a program called HandyFolders. Mostly used it in open and save dialog boxes of any program. You could customize favorite folders several layers down much like the favorites in XYPlorer. Is there any way for XYPlorer to integrate with the open and save dialog boxes? HandyFolders quit working reliably with Windows 7 and apparently their project is abandoned and no further development.

Re: Open and Save Dialog Boxes
No, this is not a feature of XYplorer. And I don't think it will ever be. Technically not possible.

Re: Open and Save Dialog Boxes
However, you may be interested in XY's paperfolders which allow you to pass on list views of your favorite locations. Not sure if this works with HandyFolders, you may have to switch to an alternative like DirectFolders or whatever else is capable of customizing save-dialogs.
Re: Open and Save Dialog Boxes
I use Listary to provide lists of favorite folders, etc.
It's aware of XY, so I can use my current XY directory in Load/Save dialogs. The way to do this when you have a "Save As" or "Load" dialog active is to move the mouse cursor over your XY window and back to the load/save dialog, and have the current directory in the dialog change to the current XY directory. Pretty slick!
