Single Click to Open

Post by jdev21 »

Is it possible to single click a file to open it?
Because there is no movable/detachable video preview, I would like to make my own but without having to double click.

Even better: Would it be possible to single click only the thumbnail/icon to open it (single clicking the filename or any other part only selects the file)

Menu Tools > Configuration... > General > Menus, Mouse, Safety > Mouse > check Single click on icon opens list items
Kind regards

This does not seem to do anything when clicking a thumbnail.

Are you using Mouse Down Blow Up on thumbnails?

I might change the behavior so that if "Configuration | Thumbnails | On left mouse down (popup stays up until button is released)" is unticked then you can single-click open via click on thumbnails.

PS: I did that.

Good decision Don. I currently use both left and right MDBU, but if at some point I elect to only use the right MDBU, it will be nice to open the file in a single left-click.

Glad this is back. XY wasn't the same with this feature only working during details/list view.
I want XY to serve soft ice cream. Please Don, make XY serve soft ice cream.
