Connecting to networked PCs when running in Admin mode

Hi,

I have a typical home network - i.e. NAT router, Windows 7/8 machines. I'm running XYplorer as Administrator from my Win7 machine. I find that the only way I can see shared folders on a machine on my network (the login on the remote machine is different to the host) is to launch Windows Explorer as Administrator from my start menu, connect to the remote machine in Windows Explorer and then (successfully) use XYplorer to see the shared folders. If I don't do this I get 'Location not available' in XYplorer.

The authentication to the remote computer must be stored in my registry as this process does not prompt for login and password to the remote computer.

So my question is, how can I make XYplorer see the remote shares without this convoluted process? Windows Explorer and XYplorer are both running in Admin mode but Windows Explorer seamlessly sees the remote shared folders but XYplorer doesn't... until Windows Explorer has seen them first.

I hope I've explained my issue clearly and look forward to illumination!

Sorry for the delayed response. Unfortunately no.

Here's a description of the issue:

- My laptop has different login details to my desktop.
- I'm in XYplorer on my desktop. It can 'see' the 'server' DELLSTUDIOXPS, which is my laptop but the details pane says 'Location not available'.
- If I right-click on DELLSTUDIOXPS under 'Network' in the XYplorer tree view and select 'Open' I get a Windows Explorer view of my laptop with all the shares and I can browse it in Windows Explorer.
- If I hop back to XYplorer it still says 'Location currently not available' even after hitting F5 to refresh.

I am running XYplorer in Admin mode:
