Attempting to create a new tab by pressing Ctrl+T causes a crash.
The message is "Run-time error type mismatch '13.'"
Also, selecting View > Current Tab produces the same result.

Hummm...just now installed 5.50.6...tried Cntl+T due to your issue...works just fine here!
And your OS is? Presume XP ? Given that another bug was just fixed related to that...

I think the fact that it occurs from a fresh setup is more valuable fact..
Don is quite aware of that particular error msg...he's "been there, done that"!
Posting images: I upload my screen prints or mockups, etc. as JPG to my PhotoBucket account, and then use the "Generate HTML" option to create the needed "[ URL ]" and "[ IMG ]" wraparounds...there are other photo/image sharing sites that can be used...I've seen ImageShack (?) used also...that is, assuming you don't have a personal web host that will allow direct linking to images...

Yeah, XP SP2 here aswell, and it does crash on Ctrl+T or when/before showing the menu View/Current Tab with a new INI. With my own INI though no problemsOrson wrote:This happens every time if I launch from scratch (new INI, new catalog). If I use an older INI file, I do not get the crash. .... for what it's worth.

For fun, I tried running XY in "fresh out of the box" mode...Yup, it crashes for me also! With cross-hatching over addr bar and toolbar...
