Can't rename drives, and F4 doesn't refresh drive names

Can't rename drives, and F4 doesn't refresh drive names

Pressing F2 or selecting Rename from menu or context menu does nothing when a drive is selected.

Also if you do rename a drive (through the Explorer Properties), pressing F4 doesn't refresh the drive name in the tree.

Did it work before? On what vers? I've not done that function (on drive level) for months...
Anyway, I'll confirm that it doesn't invoke rename as expected...on 5.50.5
Still spending WAY TOO much time here! But it's such a pleasure helping XY be a treasure!
(XP on laptop with touchpad and thus NO mouse!) Using latest beta vers when possible.

As far as i remember F2 rename for drive doesnt work. In explorer it does. Its not normal that someone renames drive on regular basis, but still its not a bad feature. If explorer can, XY should also.

Both things will happen in the next BETA. 8)

And they do :)

BTW, you know you are gradually supporting more and more UNICODE filename functions? You're already doing better than TC 7.0b1 as that just displays ??????????.txt instead of 今日资金管理中国季刊.txt I look forward to the day it's writable ;)
Used to update to the latest beta every day. Now I have children instead…
