Go to Address does'nt work

Hello,

if i enter an address in the address bar such as

\\ceu.corp.xxx.com\workgroups-hei\H01\H01\Quality

i see only the Folders netlogon and sysvol.

But in Windows Explorer, everything works well. Also Internet explorer works if i enter the address.

Hi and welcome!

I'm not very much of a "Go to" user, but something doesn't quite look right in your syntax (at least from what I know)...have you read this wiki page?

I get a similar problem, but that's because XY will NOT read a Microsoft Sharepoint Services network share. Is that location running Sharepoint Services?

Can you go to that location in Internet Explorer with an HTTP at the start and changing the \s to /s and does it give you a website with the files on?

Hey,

I don't know why it doesn't work, but just wanted to say that the syntax used for the Go to feature is correct. The Go to can take the same kind of input as the Address Bar, or a Catalog item, so regular paths, network paths, Name Searches, Visual Filters, etc

Then it's probably not Sharepoint.

When I try this with my Sharepoint shares i get no error messages, just a blank screen. TC and WE display the Sharepoint shares exactly as you would expect from a shared directory/drive. I would imagine that DetlevH's and my problems are related.
