LibreOffice Preview?

Does anyone know how to get LibreOffice preview to work?
When I try to preview a document in XYplorer, the preview pane says "ActiveX component can't create object"
When I installed LibreOffice, I believe I installed the plugin, but I'm not sure that it works. I assume that this is a LibreOffice issue, but I'm asking just in case someone else has figured this out.

Can you view LibreOffice files in Internet Explorer?

Unfortunately I can't previews in Internet Explorer either. I'm wondering if LibreOffice previews work for anyone, or if I'm the only one with the problem. By any chance, have you tried this?

I've installed the Active-X plugin as part of the LibreOffice installation, but IE does not list it as a plug-in.

This is the problem. If IE can view it then XY can view it. Ask the LibreOffice guys...
