Shortcut Arrow Shown in List Pane

Folks -- I just updated my operating system to W7 Ultimate (64-bit) and now find that shortcuts in XYplorer (Pro version) display the shortcut arrow in the LIST pane, this despite the fact that I have modified the registry to NOT show shortcut arrows on the desktop. This was not the case when running W7 (32-bit); no shortcut arrows were visible. Also, running Q-Dir, for example, shortcuts are listed without the arrow. I don't see any configuration item that addresses this situation. Can anyone offer a suggestion as to how to fix this? I am using version 10.70.0200. Thanks in advance.

Hi and welcome!

XY will invariably show the overlay. Suppressing it is not supported.

Hi Don, any chance that this would be supported now in windows 8.1?

Are the arrows going out of fashion? I fail to see why hiding important information can be an advantage... :?

Concealing the truth.

I often do create overlays for folders (was very frequent - PFI and its recursiveness made me forget it)
