There have been quite a few requests lately...
If you have the free version of XYplorer, this does not work (it requires the script engine of the paid version)!
This script should be able to create a shortcut (.lnk) in the correct "start menu - startup" folder for the current user / all users
or a task (only for the current user) to start XY elevated (with admin rights) on login.
It works from Win 2000 up to Windows 8.1.
It requires no external tools and XYplorer doesn't need to be elevated before using the script (on Vista or higher systems creating a task or placing a link in the startup folder for all users requires admin rights).
The default value for the command line switch (for XYplorer) is "/win=min" because in my tests if found "/win=tray" at least flaky when used within the task (elevated mode). You can change that in the html dialog but do it at your own "risk". I got a lot of situations where XYplorer was running as a process but didn't had a system tray icon...
If it doesn't work for you, provide as much detail as you can (OS, what option / command line parameter you've used...).
