I did it!

And, Don, you should feel like you were losing any money from me, anyway, just getting another free beta'er. After evaluating the beta, I was thinking I was probably going to buy the not-lifetime-upgrades version of Pro, so this just got me the price I was already planning on paying, just better future-proofing. (I'm pretty sure I'm done requesting new features, too, other than that I (and everyone else) remain hoping the x64 build will happen eventually.)

E++ is officially no longer my default file manager.

I think you will change your mind.
As usually there always will be new functions in XY you didn't expect but you will want to have - and then you will be very glad of owning the lifetime version.

So you are on the right side now :D

Back to only 5 computers.

4 Win 7 64bit and the laptop is still Vista.

All have XYplorer, of course.

My gracious--this thread is still around?

Situation has changed here. I built 4 Windows 7 computers- one fairly high end and 3 cheapies.

Yes, these all have XYplorer, of course. :D

I realise this is a very old post but nevertheless.

In recent topics I've discovered some very desirable features that Xyplorer Pro has to offer and whilst desirable I'm happy with the rich featureset that xyplorer free has to offer at present.

I'm considering purchasing a full lifetime license to Xyplorer Pro but with the current Australian exchange rates the pricing competes with some other software presently higher on my priority list eg Dragon Dictate Premium bundle.

I've noticed last year that a coupon provider Bitsdujour offered a discounted lifetime license so I'll be on the lookout for similar or other discount offers or until such time that more favourable exchange rates occur.

Hi there,

Just wondering how I would go about getting the student discount? I'm a grad student and have been looking for a good file management solution for so long! Xyplorer seems like the only one that has everything I need (the only thing that would be better is annotating capabilities for PDF's and/or editing for documents in the preview pane, if that's even possible). I can't believe I'm just now trying it. But I don't quite have the money to pay for it right now.

Is the 50% discount for students still available and how to I get that?

Thank you very much for this fine software!
Nate
