From the first post in Beta Thread http://www.xyplorer.com/xyfc/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4 is v3.50.0055, 09-jun-2004.
XY should have born a bit earlier than that.
@Don: Can you talk a bit about History of XY? Some trivia about the first days?

I think that just gives an estimate. Some earlier posts in that thread were discussions.

Don was also updating the new versions on the old posts for few days. I remember reading a kind of post on the forum where it mentioned what is the least and highest duration between two uploads. Most active year etc.

I was a PD user too. A real fan. Until their new owners destroyed it.
Then I found XYplorer. A real pleasure to have. I bought the Life subscription. Everybody should do it. Is so convenient.
How the Creators managed to do it so small amazes me (PD become humongous and didn't work anymore).
I will like to see one day a zip file treated like a folder but is not that bad. I'm using
PowerArchiver, which is quite fast (works with all the processors your PC has).

XYplorer should be mandatory on all PCs... would be consider a favor.
No need to torture people with Windows Explorer.
