Multi location search to ignore unavailable paths.

Post by tiago »

I have predefined search patterns that for instance looks on "C:\Arquivos de programas\tools\;D:\revisar\;E:\revisar\;H:\revisar\", but when one of those folders become unavailable (mainly an unatached backup device) all the other existing folders are ignored and I just got a notice telling that "search location currently is not available". Portability is the main reason for this to not occur, I think.

nice touch with the yellow triangle marking non-available paths among input field history. Expading it: can the regular folder icon be added to multi location searches either? No icons at all always let me the impression I'm doing it wrong or incomplete. XYplorer does verify for locations and drives at real time when entering paths on search location field, so it would be great if the same procedure could be applied to non-available paths (yellow triangle icon instead of nothing) or simple multi-location search (regular folder icon instead of nothing), meaning all paths are valid.

Too much trouble for now.

Offtopic: see, this is exactly the reason why the modern "Portuguese Orthography accord" is of limited use... some things are just different in Brazilian and European Portuguese. :D

Um abraço de Portugal, Tiago. ;)

I am reluctant in using localized terms but as I commonly see screenshots in many languages I think it's not a problem using them. Main reason: I will not be sure as well that others will understand my "approximated localization" since a term used by me may not be the right one used on actual systems, causing yet more confusion.

At Miguel:
Não que eu esteja achando que você não tenha gostado, era só pra efeito de esclarecimento geral.
De qualquer modo, abraço do Brasil!
P.S.: Me manda um PM sobre seus planos, talvez eu possa ajudar! hahaha :)
