Hi All,

I have downloaded TrackerV3 since a few days and like it in general.

However I was wondering if there will be a toolbar available in any of the future releases :?:

Thanks in advance,
Ellen

Hi Ellen, I'm not planning to do a toolbar. It wastes screenspace and doesn't offer anything that you couldn't do faster with keyboard shortcuts. Correct me if I'm wrong.

Hi!

I'm new to TrackerV3 and I find it and excellent program. Nevertheless, the first thing I have missed is a toolbar. I agree that some actions are faster with keyboards shortcuts but it forces you to leave the mouse or to use the left hand which can be used for other useful things (leaning your head on it, pointing at a list...). It could be a hideable toolbar so as not to loose screen space.

Hi Víctor,

what functions would you like to see in a toolbar?

What exactly do you mean by 'toolbar'?

A series of selectable buttons in a GUI that give the user an easy way to select desktop, application or Web browser functions. Toolbars are typically displayed as either a horizontal row or a vertical column around the edges of the GUI where they are visible while the application is in use. Most applications use toolbars as they give the user another option aside from pull-down menus.

Hi,

the one I miss the most is the delete button which could be part of an "edit toolbar". Other functions like cut, copy & paste are not so important for me but could be for other people.

Another useful toolbar would be a "favorites" toolbar enabling to toggle favorite, boxed and hilited or to jump quickly to four or five favorite folders.

Another could be a "show/hide panel" button and also a "show/hide thumbnails" button would be nice.

Finally an "up one level" button would be interesting and also to make bigger "back" and "forward" navigation buttons.

That's all. Anyway, I'll keep working with Tracker and I'll sure report other whishes.

Thanks!

Thanks for the list! Whenever I find the time, I'll come back to it.

That's a great addition. It makes TV3 look that much nicer.. must be the extra colour or something. Very useful too. Would making that toolbar moveable be too difficult? Just a small request..

Yes, I agree, it looks more friendly now. ... moveable? Just a small answer: no. (BTW: where you want to move it?)

Move it up and on the same row as the "FILE | EDIT | VIEW etc." Thanks anyway.

That would have been absolutely impossible anyway.

Mmm. How does it work in Firefox then?
