Show years in Date Format->Age

Post by Chris Wood »

Age should show years as well as days, hours and minutes. Who wants to know that something is 1413 days old? I'd rather be told "4 years". If I want a more precise date, I'll use a more precise date format.
test everything. hold on to the good.

How careless of me! But even 365.2425 is not perfect: The vernal equinox year is currently about 365.242375 days long. The Gregorian leap year rule gives an average year length of 365.2425 days. This difference of a little over 0.0001 days means that an error of a day will accumulate in around 8,000 years. So I will get swamped with bug reports around the year 10004. Frightening! :D
