I'd like to ask that this previous request to lock columns please be implemented for use with horizontal scrolling.
Background: my current resolution is 2560x1440, but there are situations that I will use Xyplorer (dual pane mode) in a split screen configuration and in a Search tab, need to constantly scroll back and forth to determine which line I'm on.
This inconvenience could be easily resolved if I could simply right click the Line Number column and select "lock".
Example: https://i.imgur.com/PUcc98K.png
Description: I'd like to select files on Lines #17+18 but the Path column adjacent to the Line Number column cannot be used to select files. Thus, I'm forced to right-scroll to the Name column to select the files then the Line Number column becomes obscured, making the selection of said files awkward unless I change Xyplorer configuration in some manner.
I think it would be a beneficial feature to include the ability to freeze columns rather than being forced to change window position, disable dual pane view, change column locations, etc.
Note: this is a common feature among spreadsheets, see: https://i.imgur.com/Vc3Nafb.png
Thank you for your consideration.
[REQ] "Freeze" columns
Re: [REQ] "Freeze" columns
From your above description you might want to look into "Tools / Customize List / Full Row Select".

Re: [REQ] "Freeze" columns
Ah ha! This has been an option I've been trying to find forever, thanks!
Although this is definitely helpful, it still does not completely alleviate the issue I mentioned: https://i.imgur.com/4B4o5Ox.png
As explained in the image, having the ability to simply right click > lock/unlock a column would be a nice quality of life option to make situations more convenient instead of having to temporarily rearrange column positions, etc.
Hopefully this feature considered for addition if implementation isn't too difficult.
