I map some of my cloud folders to a drive (A:). However; as these are on the cloud, the information that is listed for it is pretty minimal. However; XYplorer treats them as local folders. As a result this sometimes results in download-like image previews while hovering on icons. And due to XY being single-threaded, it results in a noticeable lag and it goes into a not responding state.
Wish: If I could mark some folders as Slow and XY could treat them as network locations, it would stop those unnecessary downloads and further descriptions.
This can be used for Cloud folders, folders which are encrypted, and some large local folders.

Re: My slow folders
If I get you right, you would like to exclude the Hover Box from particular folders of your free choice? Or from particular drives? Or from mapped drives in general?

Re: My slow folders
I would like to stop any activity attempting a file read (apart from user-initiated activity obviously) for particular folders of choice. I would be OK even if this is limited to drive A: which I use for this.

Re: My slow folders
PS: If get you right that would be Tooltips and Hoverbox that should be blocked for certain branches.

Re: My slow folders
Yes Don, possibly they would be the only two. I see the slowness when just hovering through the list. Would you be able to consider this please?
Re: My slow folders
I have always wanted a HoverBox folder blacklist to avoid downloads when using things like Files-On-Demand on OneDrive, up till now I have been using a VF, but a folder blacklist would be much better, in my experience tooltips don't initiate downloads.

23.60.0107 - Not working yet.
Not sure when the file is read so I restarted the application after setting it up.

Re: My slow folders
It's read on startup.
What exactly does not work? What's in your blacklist file?
I saw it. Fix comes.

Re: My slow folders
Just getting a chance to test HB blacklist, I realize they are intrinsically linked, and the original wish asked for them to be disabled, but is there a way of optionally only disabling HB, and not info tips.
