It sure would be possible, but I don't plan to do this in the near future. I put it on my list though, thanks!

Ok, I'm did some research, and it looks like you won't see a Recycle Bin integrated in T4 anytime soon.
However, you can easily access the Recycle Bin via menu Tools/Recycle Bin...

I found some info that _may_ re-energze the admin's desire to attempt to add recycle bin into XYplorer:

How to programmatically use the Recycle Bin

If the admin uses or is familiar with MS VC++, he shouldn't have any trouble following this example, and thus will hopefully integrate a recycle bin into XYplorer soon.

Yeah..

I'm quite surprised to encounter that my beloved XYPlorer does not display the Recycle Bin in the left Panel.. :?

What a miss.. :(

Well, it almost 2 years since the 1st post...

Why there is still no Recycle Bin in the 5.5 version??

XY actually does show the Recycle Bin, but only in internal format...see these other threads about it:

Just in case someone missed them, there are a few options you have access to from XY, under the menu Tools:
- Open Recyle Bin : open RB with Explorer
- Empty Recycle Bin : does what it says, after the usual confirmation
- Recycle Bin Stats : will tell how many items & how much space are on your RB

The Recycle Bin is a feature of the OS. It has been there even before XY was born. :)

Okay, of course I know what you want. But because of what I just said other things get my attention first.

Personally, I beginning to think with the Tools listed (one of which I'd forgotten about as I don't go into RB that often) there is adequate or enough support for RB currently...but...if one could do a preview of files in RB with "true" file names to find the one that you wanted to recover, that would be an improvement, though I can do it now with a tiny bit of effort.

Yeah I know that..

But it still surprised me a lot that this among the best File Explorer I've ever seen did not show it in the TREE! :?

Sorry to mention this.. But even the freeware A43 got Recycle Bin in the display.. 8)

I feel so ackward and frustrated to see whenever I want to confirm a permanent deletion of the Recycle Bin I have to open a separate window thru that menu! :(

It really turned me off somehow..
... whenever I want to confirm a permanent deletion of the Recycle Bin ...
What you mean by that? That the Bin is empty?

Err.. sorry for my bad English..

The correct one would be..
A permanent deletion of files inside the Recycle Bin 8)

That means I really need the Recycle Bin to show up as part of the XYplorer.. :)

Thank you.
