Drag'n'dropable filename

Post by noembryo »

A not so important wish:
Many times I need the name of a file (or part of it) in some document or to drop it to an app.
Is it possible to make the selected part of a filename (in the rename mode) to be dragable?
Like a selected part of a text or a browser's url is.

But as I said, not so important.. :)

Are you aware of Ctrl+Shift+P to copy the selected filename to clipboard, after which you can easily Ctrl+V it wherever needed?
With just part of the filename I guess Ctrl+C will get you there as well.
