Is there a specific reason why certain child windows like the Configuration, Action Log, and Status Log do not allow the user to click the main window whilst they are open? I'm guessing it's partly to do with preventing some bugs from happening? Maybe that applies to the Configuration window more than the Action/Status Log which are mostly just viewers.
With all these three windows I've found I've wanted to interact with the main window at times. E.g. Change a configuration setting and confirm that it did what I wanted or expected it to do, or view the Action Log as I do something to see it what was actually logged in real-time. Same with the Status Log. Even the Run Script window suffers from this issue which is likely one of the more annoying circumstances as it's not possible to simultaneously e.g. rename/move/create items and edit/test the script.
Thanks!

Re: Ability to interact with main window when child windows are open
Impossible. Maintaining strict order between the main and sub windows is the crucial lid of a large Pandora box.
