Caching Folder sizes

I do not know the methodology used when caching Folder sizes.

Does checking folder cache only do its calculations for the current folder you are visiting - or does it do for all sub-folders?

e.g. suppose you visit the root directory of C:\ (windows OS) - does xyplorer attempt to cache all possible sub directories?

Any general information regarding folder sizes caching (item counts etc) would be appreciated.

Feature request - optional "Only update Folder Size (etc) on the first day of every month (say) OR when hit the "Update Folder Size NOW" button.

just enable caching folders size and disable auto-refresh, size will be updated on your manual decisions.
