currently, the dice character is tied to the default font, so we can't use other fonts without breaking it. to fix this, can you make the dice character use its own font independently? also give it a larger font size independently for better visibility.

Curious: which font are you using that has no dice?

i tested a lot of fonts, and only "Segoe UI Symbol" has dice. so many other fonts are not compatible.

Weird. I tested a lot of fonts, and every font seems to have dice. There must be something else going on...

@Don: FYI it seems more like a Win7 (and probz earlier OS's) font fallback issue, not so much the font: viewtopic.php?p=187737#p187737

Yep, probably. Cannot do anything about it. (Apart from changing the font just for that sign, but I don't want to do that.)

while you make the dice character use its own font independently to improve compatibility, you can also set it to have a relatively larger font size for a higher resolution dice character that looks better.
