Tab History

Post by notabot »

To open the Tab History, currently one has to choose Go > History from the menu (there might be other ways that I haven't discovered yet).

Suggestion:
Open the folders of the Tab History in a context menu when Alt+right-click on the tab.
(or the most recent n, if the list gets too long)

Firstly, do you have in Configuration | General | Refresh Icons, History | History | History per tab checked. If you right click on a tab's title, the context menu comes up which includes History... If you right click on a tab's icon, the history is displayed. If you press Alt+N, the tab's history is also displayed directly. I'm not sure if you are aware of all these existing options.

Not here (out-of-the-box setup; version 21.50). You might have created a customized keyboard shortcut for that?

I tested that before posting. It shows the breadcrumb trail, not the history.

Rather than right clicking the tab, assign a Customized Keyboard Shortcut. Go to Tools | Customized Keyboard Shortcuts... Change the Category to View, find "Tab History..." and assign your own keyboard shortcut. Click on "All Free Shortcuts" for your choices. Yes, I must have made a CKS for tab history many years ago and forgot.
