CMD command on the address bar

Post by CompSystems »

Hello

Windows explorer in the address bar, when typing CMD executes CMD.EXE from SYSTEM, this is important when performing video tutorials when using console command execution.

Very practical if when writing CMD on the address bar it would execute cmd.exe. Another optional feature is that when choosing a file, place the path + the file name, in this way you can make video tutorials without the need to be copying and pasting file names in the address bar, then selecting again and copying again and paste in another application

Thanks

Currently you can already just use an exclamation point instead, or !cmd if you prefer, or you could also create an alias that launches it by typing @cmd, alternatively there is also Ctrl+Alt+P, or the inbuilt toolbar button etc.

As for your second wish, you make it sound like to copy a full path name, currently you are going to the list, copying just the filename, pasting it at the end of the address bar path, then copying the whole addressbar content? FYI you can just press Ctrl+P with a file selected, or maybe for video tutorials instead use this menu item: File | To Clipboard | Item Path/Name(s) or one of the many other ways to copy a fullpath name that are easier, but anyway these are just suggestions as to what is already possible, the dev may still choose to add your wish.

sorry for my regular english

On the first part !Cmd works, but when recording a videotutorial it changes the normal use of the name of the CMD command to !CMD =( and the students get confused, I would like to write only CMD then give [enter].
Another idea is also born here, we need a button [paste and go] located at the extreme right of the address bar so that when recording a video the process of pasting and location of the file can be observed.

For example, the following video shows n times the operations of copying the path of a file and pasting it in the file explorer
