Hi,
I am a paying customer, great product.
In all other file managers I have used, a right click on a tab provides the option for both "duplicate tab" (which duplicates present tab) and "new tab" which opens a new tab to the default (typically home) location. I have asked for this feature previous but did not hear back from the development team.
To summarize I would like to see both "duplicate tab" and "new tab" options in the right mouse click context menu.
Take care,
chris
Duplicate tab right click menu option
Re: Duplicate tab right click menu option
The reason why this makes sense is that you can define
Configuration | Tabs and Panes | Tabs | New tab path
which will practically remove the cloning feature from the "New Tab" context menu entry (or the double left/middle mouse clicks if configured)

Re: Duplicate tab right click menu option
OK, but what should "New tab" do then when it is not defined? It should not clone when there is a separate Clone Tab command...

Re: Duplicate tab right click menu option
It could open e.g. "This PC".
Alternatively, "clone tab" could be shown only when "new tab path" is _not_ empty and would retain its functionality otherwise

OK. I think "This PC" feels more natural.

Don't forget to add "clone tab" to
Configuration | Tabs and Panes | Tabs | On double-click
Configuration | Tabs and Panes | Tabs | On middle-click
afterwards
