Something to denote that a change has occurred in folder view settings for a folder with saved folder view, when auto-save changes is not enabled. Partial reason this intrests me is trying to figure out why my folder view settings all of a sudden change to default for various tabs what seems like randomly with upgrade from 20.5->20.8, and I have to select restore folder view frequently. Most of the time its not immediately apparent the view settings changed, and I can't trace back my most recent key strokes and script commands.
An asterisk on the toolbar button, or additional transparent icon overlay notification like the one that lets you know a visual filter is applied, or tab background color or text italics, or popup message, or status bar text, anything would help.
