I'm not sure I understand. Can you state again what you wish to do?

Re: breadcrumb bar
It works the other way round: to the breadcrumb bar.
I never felt the urge to drag from that bar. Feels like a weird idea. Maybe I don't see the point...

Re: breadcrumb bar
I have often had the desire to pull a folder directly from the bar. About the left bar I can indeed pull a folder. But if I work in the dual pane on the right, the way to the left bar is further than up. It was just an idea.
Re: breadcrumb bar
So 7iben, do I understand right that basically you want to get the path of the left pane into the right pane? Are you aware that you can customize the Hamburger-menu that is shown inside the panes. I did this (Ctrl+Click) and have added #550 which is the "Goto Other Location"-Command.

Re: breadcrumb bar
- Ctrl+Right-Click the Hamburger
- click "Customize Menu..."
- add this line:
- click "Customize Menu..."
- add this line:
#1070;;:go
(#1070 is the internal code for command "Panes | Go to Other Location", :go stands for some toolbar icon that works here)
The resulting menu:

Re: breadcrumb bar
This is a pretty cool tip, thanks for posting. Problem I have now is my hamburger is now looking like a triple-decker-whopper !
Any chance of a review/reply to this wish item (viewtopic.php?f=5&t=20444&p=169496#p169496) ?

Re: breadcrumb bar
Many Thanks.
I tried it. It works fine but it's not what I mean.
I do not understand why you can pull folders or files into the breadcrumb bar, folder but not out.
You can also drag folders and files in and out of the tree?
it works here and not there
