Show "Tag Database" name in status bar, or other place you can immediately see the database in use.

Post by cadu »

Hi,

With the new implementation of Multi-User-Tagging (www.xyplorer.com/release_19.80.php), I see myself changing "Tag Databases" more often, and it would be handy if the "Tag Database" name could be seen always. This way the user could always see the current database in use, changing more easily to other databases when needed.

The "Tag Database" name could be shown in the status bar (suggestion in image below), or in any other place you could immediately see the database in use.

A complementary suggestion is when clicking the "Tag Database" name, a pop-up window for "loading tags database" could appear, facilitating the change to other databases.

Thanks for considering it!

It can be shown in the titlebar.

Configuration | Colors and Styles | Templates | Titlebar, for example:

Code: Select all

<path> - <app> <ver> [<xytagdat>]
