Automatically Populated Drop Down List for Custom Columns

An option to have the drop down list populated automatically by existing values in the column existing values either

1) Globally
2) The visible list however filtered or searched
3) The current folder whether visible or not

Also, live filter like function for limiting the list in the event voluminous
