Re: Shortcut for increasing the size of the thumbnail
And, as I see, you still haven't learned how to phrase your wishes in a way to make other people wanting to support them.

Re: Shortcut for increasing the size of the thumbnail
Each different thumbnail size for a particular image folder requires a different thumbnail cache. The thumbnail cache is based on the folder and size of the thumbnail. Presently only three thumbnail sizes are allowed. Thumbnail #1, #2, #3. You can pick the sizes you want for each of those 3 thumbnail sizes. You could then have a simple script implemented by a key press or Customized Toolbar Button which would cycle between those 3 sizes. Doing your 10% request though would result in a crap load of thumbnail caches which could eventually take up significant drive space.

Re: Shortcut for increasing the size of the thumbnail
Are you sure about that? It seems that Windows Explorer manages to do it.
Re: Shortcut for increasing the size of the thumbnail
Yes I am. XYplorer has its own thumbnail system unrelated to Windows Explorer in any way.Leito wrote:Are you sure about that? It seems that Windows Explorer manages to do it.

Re: Shortcut for increasing the size of the thumbnail
Yes I know. What I'm not convinced about though, is that it would take a "significant about of space". Windows Explorer does it, I never got any disk space issue because of the thumbnails.
Re: Shortcut for increasing the size of the thumbnail
Well disk space used is directly proportional to the size of the thumbnails and the amount the images thumbed. My thumbnail folder is currently running around 3.5 GB which I suppose isn't too bad compared to the space taken by my high-res photographs. If you have each folder of images saved in 3 or 4 thumbnail sizes, the total thumbnail cache size is obviously going to be bigger. Everyone is different, but I personally don't need to see the same images in a few different sizes. I have no idea how Microsoft stores or saves the image thumbnails. It may not be in the same manner as XY... a little research would tell us.

Re: Shortcut for increasing the size of the thumbnail
The size can be increased in percentage it's not that only 3 sizes are allowed,as its done to increase the font size through wheel.
