Settings/Config in separate files

Currently the settings in Data/XYplorer.ini contains all kind of values.
I maintain my entire program files folder in a version control system, so that i can track and if required revert any changes.
In the case of XYplorer.ini, it is always shown as change because the XYplorer.ini contains settings which are automatically changed during the course of using the software.

Some of the settings are given below

[LookIn]
[mruBrowse]
[mruGoto]
[mruQNS]
[mruSearchReplace]
[mruBatchRename]
[mruOpenedItems]

Is it possible to move above settings into other settings ini file?
