Feature Request: Tab Scrolling with Right Click + Mouse Wheel

Post by Zeta »

There's a feature in Opera 12 (and I think via an extension in Firefox too) that allowed you to, anywhere in a page,
"Right Click + Turn The Mouse Weel" which brought up a list of currently open tabs which you can scroll through.

Scrolling down goes through the tabs to the right (and down the tab list).
Scrolling up goes through the tabs to the left (and up in the tab list).
When you reach the end/beginning it loops back to the beginning/end of the tab list.
When you get to the desired tab, let go of "Right Click" and you end up in said tab.

For the keyboard shortcut users, you can also bring up the tab list with "Ctrl+Tab".
Ctrl+Tab goes through the tabs to the right (and down the tab list).
Shift+Ctrl+Tab goes through the tabs to the left (and up in the tab list).
When you reach the end/beginning it loops back to the beginning/end of the tab list.
When you get to the desired tab, let go of the "Keyboard Shortcut" and you end up in said tab.

This is really practical and improves productivity since you don't have to go to the tab bar each time you want to switch tabs.
Note: The tab preview in the screenshot isn't really needed, just the text list of tabs and their icon.

Ever since "tab scrolling when hovering over the tab bar" was added I was missing this feature and thinking it'd be great if XYplorer had it too.
