popumenu() uses a dark background now (XY internal icons are used here)
for icon displayment. Looks ugly...

Seems like some of the colors are not being honored in Dark Mode. Color Filters seem to be working, but in the attached screenshot the breadcrumb bar, tabs, and list colors appear to be ignored (the colors in non Dark Mode show correctly). Is it possible to honor these colors in Dark Mode?

That's normal:

Code: Select all

v19.40.0160 - 2018-12-13 19:54
+++ Dark Mode: XYplorer has its own Dark Mode now.
      - It's a smart Dark Mode. You don't have to configure anything (and you
can't). Your current color configuration is automatically converted into
its dark sister. She's much darker and a bit desaturated. Brightness of
foreground (text) and background is mostly inverted.
Some of those colors are honored but they're darkened automatically. As I said before, I'm not a fan of this because we lose (part of) the customization capabilities of those colors: you can change them in the Configuration, but you won't get what you've set (you'll get something darker). So either you're satisfied with those colors, either you play with the Configuration several times to try and get something close to what you want.
Other of those colors are inverted. Again, we lose the (full) customization capabilities we have on the light theme.

That's why I advocate to be able to customize all colors separately for the light theme and for the dark theme.

Can you read item #3 on the screenshot below? I can't really easily. But I can't customize the colors as well, or it will mess with my light theme colors.

I've played with it a bit, came back to 25 because this is a fine value for me.

But (sorry for insisting), this setting wouldn't be useful if colors settings were honored. :)

I set Text color = 100% White (FFFFFF) but when I turn on Dark Mode, Text become grey??!
There is no way to have 100% white text in Dark Mode?
I'm a casual coder using AHK language. All of my xys scripts:

Well, it's the opposite. Most colors honor the Dark Mode by becoming darker. But I deliberately excluded Color Filters from this because the colors here are likely to be too important to the user.

Yes. I found that too extreme.
