I find the file size count feature really useful in theory yet it was slowing my system down a little so I turned on the related "cache folder sizes" option.
I have no idea how this caching logic works but it doesn't seem to be that intuitive as I've now learnt to totally ignore te file sizes reported in XY Explorer as they seem to be constantly wrong. I realise this is due to the caching feature. So for me, it's really not much use as I just keep on finding significant discrepancies between the actual size and the reported size. I'm talking significant file quantity and/or file size changes, not just a file changing by a couple of kb.
