Want "Show Folder Sizes" to be per pane

Often I have a huge list of folders in Pane 1 while working on another location in the Pane 2. I want to show folder sizes in Pane 2, but they are also triggered in Pane 1 which I don't need and which causes a major slowdown (esp on an external drive).

So I'd like "Show folder sizes" to be limited to the pane in which I enable it. I don't find a tweak for this or any prior mention in the forum.

Untick this and it's limited just to this tab:
Configuration | Styles | Apply list styles globally

Tip: For just a quick temporary view you can also do Shift+F5.
