First of all i have to say,
xyplorer it's the best ever file manager, of all the world, of all the time !
the most powerfull, customizable, light, complete...
i really like it ! i love you !
unfortunally thumbnails need more flexibility, here some idea :
some can be easy or hard or even impossible, but please try...
of course everything can be one option to check
1- Thumbnails Size With Mouse Wheel +-
"ALT + mouse wheel" or "CTRL + mouse wheel" can change the size of the thumbnails
but more than size #1 #2 #3 for this option we need more level
no need to be implemented in xyplorer.ini file
more like "CTRL + mouse wheel" on windows explorer maybe +10% of last size
1.1- Change "Views" With Mouse Wheel +-
more like "CTRL + mouse wheel" on windows explorer
detail > list > small icon > large icon > ... then > thumbnails #1 > #2 > #3 > #4 > #5...
"CTRL + mouse wheel" (change text size) should be more "ALT + mouse wheel"
2- More Level Of Thumbnails Size
#1 #2 #3 is good but
#1 #2 #3 #4 #5 (maybe)
super small (big gallery need quick view) (30px)
small (quick view)
middle (every purpose)
big (some details)
super big (need to see details like a preview but more fast because no click needed) (+700px)
3- Script To Change Thumbnails Width / Height
thumbsconf("0,1,0,0");
option add
thumbsconf("width,height,0,1,0,0");
i don't understand how did you forget this, no need to be implemented in xyplorer.ini file
4- Live Thumbnails Gif
this can be hard, but it can be so cool to have directly the preview of gif image animation in thumbnails
even thumbnails video preview (even if it's heavy may be usefull in futur)
5- I Saw The Post "Thumbnails Fixed Height"
"fixed height" it's a very good idea

it's not bad to implement this "option"
can be "another way" to show thumbnails
even if xyplorer have thumbnails column based view "another mode" "another way" to show it can be good
please think about it again
6- Image Magnifier & Zoomer & Picture Of Navigation (maybe can use thumbnails)
in preview, or floating preview,
when we zoom inside a picture, have a picture of navigation, the full picture small in the corner left or right,
kind of a map, a general image of reference, of where we are in the picture.
like the histogram, and when on a corner if the mouse move over the histogram or the picture of navigation move to the other side

Bug Found :
multiple screen, xyplorer on main screen, on "mouse down blow up" preview on main screen, where the mouse is, where expected, perfect...
but
multiple screen, xyplorer on secondary screen (left or right), on "mouse down blow up" preview go to main screen (bad, because expected on secondary screen).
the height is good but the preview stay/stuck on the border of the main screen (left or right depend of the position of xyplorer)
continue ! everything is so great
Futur maybe : xyplorer 64bits application it's possible ? ...
