Just wondering how to get the additional details displayed on the hover box such as the camera model, f stop, etc.

These are automatically displayed if they are present and readable in the previewed file. You need a fitting 32-bit properties handler installed to extract those data.

Tip: The FastPictureViewer Codec Pack (around 10 USD last time I looked) will provide all you need. Only my personal experience. There similar products out there...

Is it possible to tweak Hoverbox that preview has exactly same size frame for both black and white background? I don't mind if they are both thicker or both thinner just want them to be same because if changing it by pressing B it makes picture "jump" which distracts our brain to see picture to be same.

Good move. I didn't change from white to dark frame on the HoverBox often, but it is much smoother to do so now with the frame thickness the same.

Just a piece of information to pass on to others in case you have a problem getting HoverBox to work on RaR files with beta 19.30.0026. I initially had RaR files listed in Configuration Preview Formats | Categories under Office Files as well as Web Files (for whatever reason - who knows). For me HoverBox for RaR files only works if I have RaR listed under Web files alone (i.e., not under Office files and not under both). I have my WinRaR folder under a Tools folder so yes, I needed the tweak mentioned in the beta notes. Thanks Don.

Also using the tweak ZipPathUnRAR, the HoverBox works on RAR though it is not listed in any categories.

Hm.. Just discovered something weird regarding .rar files. For some archives HoverBox shows in preview Folder name and exactly same thing as File name despite there aren't any files in root of archive. There are some files inside that folder but none of them are with such name. And like said first it's not affecting all .rar archives. Just stumbled across some of them.

No problem, there aren't any top secret files in it. Any standard procedures - to upload it somewhere, private message, attachment? (it's less than 1 MB)

Yes, similar here (as was also the case with zip files). Thanks klownboy.

Some automatic helping hand, that would guide an innocent user through these dependencies would really be helpful, I think.

But hey, Don, you made my day with hover box rar support!! :appl:
