Long-press preview for folders too: And there's already a script for it.

Results similar to a mouseover in Windows explorer: A peek at what folders/files are there within a limited space. I find myself continually thinking there's a preview when there isn't - at least with that info.

That's a very elegant script; thank you for pointing it out (and your list of other available scripts - good resource). I especially like it with the enter into folder option selected. It's also interesting to see how curitem works. Well optimized.

A preview consistent with other hold-left-mouse previews might still be nice, but I'll be happily using your script - and studying it. Thanks for taking the time.
