Clear looking breadcrumbbar

Want to make look the fonts on the breadcrumb bar look very clear,presently it's okay but it should still be clear and an ability to even customize the background color of this bar.

Move mouse cursor over the breadcrumb bar, hold CTRL and scroll up.
Right click on the bar, check the option Bold.
From the main menu, go to Tools > Configuration > Colors. Change colors under Breadcrumb Bar 1 and Breadcrumb Bar 2

That only increases the size of it.

Well, it's definitely more legible if the fontsize is larger.
