Search Templates: Some way to custom order the list
Search Templates: Some way to custom order the list
It would be helpful to apply a custom order to the list of search templates. I use them a lot, but the most commonly used ones are not at the top of the list, which is what I'd want to see. I know they are just individual files appearing in name sort order. So I guess, as a kludge, I can prepend numbers to their names to get the order I want.
Running on Windows 10 Pro 64-bit quad-core ASUS G752-VY notebook with 64 GB RAM, over 26 external USB3 drives attached via multiple powered hubs with letters and mount points, totaling 120+ TB.

Re: Search Templates: Some way to custom order the list
Not possible. The items are read directly from the file system, there is no separate storage layer where one could hold a custom sort order.
So, prepending numbers is indeed the way to go.
