Tail in ASCII view
Tail in ASCII view
Wouldn't be more logical and useful to load really the ending 10 MB of the file in ASCII mode (when Tail is on) instead of showing simply the the end of the loaded 10 Mb? Or is it not possible technically?

Well, yes. No time for it at the moment, though.

Re: Tail in ASCII view
Unfortunately now the tail/head switch is not on the fly, you have to choose a different file and then go back.
And I am wondering if it wouldn't be useful for hex view too. Now clicking on tail option has the same effect as if I simply scroll down to the end of the preview... Not too meaningful, I can do it easily by the scroll bar.

Re: Tail in ASCII view
Yep, a but. Fix comes.
Not necessary for Hex View. It's ultrafast at any size.

Re: Tail in ASCII view
Sorry, my bad. Somehow I thought now, that it was also cropped. I am going to use only the ASCII mode for tail
Thanks!
Thanks!
