which followed the behavior of Windows Explorer in those days. Today
Windows Explorer, aka File Explorer, seems to be less predictable in the
order of processing multiple selected files. So XYplorer now takes the
freedom to do better.
- Notable exception: When opening multiple files via the shell context
menu, the old behavior has to be continued because the focused file is
expected to control the nature of the menu, and the controlling file has
to be the first file processed for technical reasons. (This might be the
reason why Explorer started this slightly weird behavior in the first
place.)

I'm sorry, I waited for the update. But I still see the same behaviour. What do I do wrong? I just select a couple of files and hit 'enter'. It still doesn't open them in the same order in PS.

Not necessary.
I'm totally clueless why this should not work. It works here 100% with all combinations I could come up with.

I'm sorry, but it doesn't seem to work the way it should. I add a screenshot from my file selection and the way the files are opened in PS. If you want to see something else, please let me know.
