Though I know it's not the case (as you've just stated), in the perfect world for me the difference between LF and TAF is just the rendering.

Live Filter should not start a new search on a search results list. I guess I have read this kind of list is yet to be done, tho. Badly missing.

Escape resets LF. How about a quick double-escape press resets AND toggles off the box?

Hmmm, too exotic. But double key is a cool idea in general. I keep it on my mind.

I wish there were a way to live-filter from the addressbar. Say you type a special character and ENTER to enable live-filter mode then type the filter pattern.
(But which special character? How about a single : )

Really liking the new feature. Liking it more than "Type ahead" and I see myself using it more.

Suggestion/Request: Could there be an option to use this new filter instead of the "Type ahead" function?

So instead of having to go and click on Live Filter Box, or press a Hotkey, I could just start typing and it starts filtering the results instead of highlighting them. And option to activate/deactivate would be ideal (for people wanting the "Type ahead" function as it currently works).

Yes, I'm registering the demand for this. Will probably come in one of the next versions.

Yes, good idea. I was hoping for this as well. Live Filter deserves it.
