feature request: open multiple Favorites in tabs

I would like to have a way to open a selection of multiple favorites as tabs in a pane (like what Firefox allows with bookmarks).

As of now, I've only discovered how to open one favorite at a time.

I recognize that this might already be possible with the existing software and I'm just missing it; if so, please point me in the right direction.

After looking at the Catalog and reading the admin reply here:

it seems that it is easier/more powerful to just use the Catalog vs. messing with Favorites, generally.

Therefore, I think I will seek the functionality requested in this thread via Catalog rather than Favorites.

I note that it is very easy to open an entire Category in tabs (it's a simple right-click operation).

However, I didn't ascertain a way to select specific items (a subset of a Category, or items from multiple Categories) and open them in tabs in one action. Is there a way to do this?
